We saw examples of how God was patient when dealing with Israel and how Jesus was patient with his disciples and the sinners around him. Our God is so patient with us because He loves us and doesn't take pleasure in punishing us. He is also aware of our weaknesses. This patience was also exemplified in the apostles and prophets and therefore, should be practiced by all christians in order to promote unity in the church.
